Abstract

Through the research on Chinese folk paper-cut art, this paper points out the connection between the characteristics of Chinese folk paper-cut patterns and modern aesthetic concepts. It also analyzes that the regional characteristics of folk paper-cut patterns are influenced by geographical location, climate and other factors. Paper-cut art has high artistic value, reflecting different ideological values and artistic levels, and more importantly, the common national cultural ideology.
