The Intrinsic Logic and Chinese Practice of Human Free and All Round Development and the Building of a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind

From the core perspective of Marxist theory, this paper elaborates two key propositions: human free and all‑round development and the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. Dialectical unity characterizes the two propositions in terms of objectives and pathways, with prominent intrinsic connections between them. Practically, the people‑centered Chinese‑path modernization furnishes institutional guarantees and material prerequisites for human free and all‑round development. Meanwhile, through concrete initiatives such as advancing the Belt and Road Initiative and promoting the common values of humanity, it facilitates the transformation of the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind from conceptual to practical reality. Against the current backdrop marked by the overlapping tides of technological revolution and profound global changes unseen in a century, latent risks engendered by emerging technologies including artificial intelligence and the metaverse demand due attention. Marxist doctrines on the emancipation of labour ought to serve as the fundamental guiding principle for addressing such potential risks. The strengths of the socialist system can sustain the deepened practice of the two propositions, and deliver vital theoretical support for China’s pursuit of high‑quality development and the modernization of the global governance system.
